New thinking for the workforce

One of Australia’s largest Aged Care providers, Uniting NSW/ACT has 74 residential facilities, with over 8000 Home Care customers.


Uniting sought to rapidly improve attraction and retention across its Aged Care facilities in response to the COVID crisis.


Fire Up’s workforce expert led the organisation-wide activities to develop innovative and evidence-based solutions, including:

  • Conducted a review of the workforce and workforce risks
  • Identified mission-critical roles
  • Identified join, stay and exit triggers across frontline care staff
  • Teamed with Marketing to identify EVP for key roles, retention and attraction strategies

Engaged the majority of the workforce to develop a range of innovative and evidence-based solutions.
