Set up the L&D Team for Success to Scale Leadership Development
BaptistCare, a respected care provider since 1944, has significantly expanded, recently merging BaptistCare NSW/ACT and WA. With over 6,000 employees and 600 volunteers, BaptistCare is committed to transforming lives through its services in aged care, home care, retirement living, and community services. Under the new 5-year strategy, "People First" is central to BaptistCare’s mission.
BaptistCare engaged Fire up to assist the Learning & Development team in scaling its offerings, and making them more future-fit to support the organisation's growth ambitions.
HOW WE HELPED
- Gained active sponsorship from the ELT to re-energise the leadership framework
- Facilitated a collaborative co-design process to engage stream sponsors and champions to build out elements of the framework:
- New leader onboarding pathway
- Newly promoted leader pathway
- Co-design and commercial competencies
- Set up the L&D team to showcase excellence in co-design at the National Gathering
- Identified 4 x enterprise early-wins to maximise buy-in and continue to build enterprise capability
